She Has Done a Beautiful Thing

Matthew 26:1-13

Jesus was aware of this. So he said to them, "Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me.

 Read verses 1-5.  What did Jesus say to his disciples?  Why would Jesus be handed over during the Passover?  Why would he be nailed to a cross?  What plans did the chief priests and elders make?  Why did they want to wait until after the Passover Feast?  

 Read verses 6-9.  Where was Jesus staying?  Who came to Jesus?  What did the woman do?  How did the disciples react to what she did?  Why? 

 Read verses 10-13.  What did Jesus say to the disciples?  What did he say about what this woman had done to him?  Why was what she did beautiful?  How would God use what she did?  Why did Jesus want this woman’s story told anywhere the good news was preached all over the world?
